"Becoming," said Paul Klee, "is superior to being."

"We are the clever inventors of ourselves. Opportunities include nuances, conscious and unconscious mannerisms, evidence of unexplainable magic, flinty zips and happenstance gradations, strokes, splodges, slubs, bumps, bubbles and color changelings. They may be gentle or violent. They may be planned or accidental. They may be lines or they may be patterns. They can be fat or lean, thick or thin. You need to look out for elements that change in front of your eyes, things that become something other than that which they just were."

- Robert Glenn

While formal training has brought its rewards, self-exploration has produced greater rewards. Over the past 45+ years, I have continued my artistic endeavors working as a monotype printmaker, watercolorist, collage-multi media artist, and jewelry maker. I have had the good fortune of receiving many artistic honors and awards, and having works in corporate and private collections locally, nationally, and internationally. My artwork has been featured in Somerset Studio and Bel Armoire magazines (2007 and upcoming in 2010), and most recently, Kim Nugent's book, Interactive Workshop.

Gina accepts commissions for your personal collage, print, or painting.
